Raising up leaders into the harvest field in francophone countries

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

All reports

How do we achieve our mission?

  • Training leaders and trainers (2 Tim 2:2)
  • Releasing workers into the harvest field
  • Empowerment through joint effort
  • Mentoring
  • Working with all who want to see the francophone nations reached with the Gospel
  • Training in missions and pastoral work
  • Promoting church planting
  • Promoting education
  • Alleviating poverty
  • Engaging the community through meeting local needs
  • Matching needs with those capable to meet them

What are our values?

  • Laying down self and seeking God’s glory above all else
  • Unity is capital: collaboration in unity
  • Cooperation between ministries
  • Working by the Word
  • Maximum impact through gift and talent sharing
  • Multiplier effect
  • Partnership and complementing gifts and abilities

What types of ministries meet here?

Les Moissonneurs serves as a medium for bringing together ministries who will

  • commit themselves selflessly;
  • consecrate themselves;
  • work in total submission to the direction of the Holy Spirit;
  • work in unity so that the kingdom and rule of Christ on earth may come;
  • cooperate in training trainers for the work of the harvest in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit; and
  • multiply the testimony of Christ, first in francophone nations of the world.

What are the goals of Les Moissonneurs?

  • Set up training centres
  • Cooperate in joint activities to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ
  • Provide literacy programmes for the target group
  • Resource ministries for the work of the Gospel
  • Empower women
  • Relieve poverty

What needs have we identified?

The main needs centre around adequately trained personnel who can disciple converts and make them disciple makers.

  • Many evangelistic outreaches have seen many souls saved, but there hasn’t always been enough manpower to turn those decisions into actual disciples. The workers themselves also need adequate training so that they can do the works of Christ effectively. Many churches are looking for trained personnel to relieve the senior pastor.
  • Illiteracy needs to be addressed so that willing people can access the training that will enable them to serve.
  • A pool of trained staff will lighten the load and let each minister concentrate on his or her own area of anointing, for the benefit of the entire body.
  • This will greatly enrich the body of Christ and contribute to a comprehensive Christian witness in each nation.
  • The more trained personnel are released, the easier it will be to reach the wider population, and the more effective the work of Jesus Christ.

Why do we do this?

Les Moissonneurs is a platform established to enable everyone with a passion to see the francophone nations reached with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to come together with a common purpose: to release workers into our Lord’s vineyard (Mat 9:38). After several years of investment in missions by various teams, it has been a privilege to work with many ministries in various French-speaking nations. We respect the dedication and commitment of the organisations we have worked with. However, the harvest truly is plentiful and the labourers are few. The work being done is barely scratching the surface.

Compared with English-speaking nations, francophone countries, particularly the former colonies, have not received a great deal of Christian input. Many, if not most, have fewer than 2% of the population who are evangelical Christians. Even if they were all active disciple makers, they would still be far too few for the gigantic work of reaching the nations for Christ. A massive injection of workers is required. It is not the work of one person or a single ministry. That is why God has gifted each ministry differently with His manifold wisdom, so that the principalities and powers will recognise the Lordship of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (Eph 3:10). The time has come to raise the stakes and mobilise strategically together, to bring in the harvest through training that becomes self-perpetuating after the order of 2 Tim 2:2.

There is an impetus of the Holy Spirit calling the Body of Christ to a position of strength and impact through unity and cooperation among Christian groups in francophone nations and abroad. Prophetic word after prophetic word confirms that the time is ripe for all who have a heart for the French-speaking nations to join in a common purpose to see them evangelised and discipled for Jesus. While the door is still open, it is important to move fast. The heavens are open. This is the time for strategic action. Through unity, which is the high-priestly prayer of Jesus (Jn 17:21), nothing shall be impossible (Gen 11:6).

LES MOISSONNEURS was birthed in a vision received 30 years ago: God was going to revive the francophone nations of the world. He was going to take the language often used by atheism and false philosophy and use it as a language of praise throughout the French-speaking world.

Ideally equipped both in passion for the global harvest and in high education in the French language, Mme ‘Kemi set out to make the vision a reality. She and her co-workers have laboured tirelessly throughout much of the francophone world. They have seen significant fruit for their labours. But there remains much to be done.

I am blessed by the commitment, faith and spiritual maturity of this ministry. I am also encouraged by the openness to include all who have a similar vision to work together from different churches and mission organisations. We can do more together than we could ever do apart.

I warmly commend LES MOISSONNEURS to you for your participation, your prayer support and your financial backing. I pray that you will be generous in your giving, to enable Mme ‘Kemi to spearhead crucial existing and pressing new initiatives that the Lord is opening up in highly significant areas of world mission today.

Les Moissonneurs has the capacity to unite different ministries in one mind and make them work in the field together. In the last 10 years much has been done in terms of training and encouragement in Africa. We need to see the potential of this platform as a tool in the hands of God for his last days’ harvest.

“Les Moissonneurs”, which was birthed by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit given to Dr Kemi Ajayi, has been a powerful instrument of transformation as a training platform in the francophone nations. As a frontline missionary working in sub-Saharan nations, I have benefited from the Moissonneurs ministry in Mali, West Africa. The teaching, exhortation, counselling and leadership training have been a tremendous blessing to our churches, workers and pastors, and to the wider body of Christ, in particular the Malian Pentecostal church movement AMEN-Réveil to which we actively belong.

Mama Kemi, as we call her, has been a source of hope and kingdom power enrichment, through her love, devotion and sacrifice to fulfilling her God-given mission in the nations.

I highly recommend Les Moissonneurs to all who want to be useful in the last days revival.

I have been part of Les Moissonneurs mission efforts and initiatives since June 2016. I have served on the team that trains pastors and church leaders in theology, discipleship and leadership in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Côte d’Ivoire. I have seen first hand the impact of the transformational work of Les Moissonneurs in the lives and ministries of the pastors and church leaders. I am humbled and honoured to have been asked by Mama Kemi to be part of the team. Les Moissonneurs is truly harvesting souls, discipling souls, developing leaders and transforming lives.

Je suis impressionné par le nombre de serviteurs et de servantes de Dieu à qui les Moissonneurs a permis de travailler ensemble. De nationalités différentes, des dons différents travaillant en unité pour impacter des nations.

Testimonies

From team members and leaders on missions in the DR Congo, Chad and elsewhere.

Leaders have been impacted, empowered, and equipped to serve the Lord with boldness.

Lily K. Cabady

Pastors were impacted by the discipleship teaching, and a church was planted by a local pastor in the DRC following Les Moissonneurs’ mission.

Dieudonné Cabady

Les Moissonneurs’ missions have touched the people in Congo Kinshasa in a powerful way. The impact was significant in leader and minister training, as well as ministering in churches. Every church wants missionaries to come and minister at their churches.

Two words summarise my experience during these missions: need and thirst. The need is so great, and they are thirsty!

Emmanuel D’Almeida

The impact of Les Moissonneurs in Kinshasa: restored hearts set ablaze with a hunger for the things of God, rekindled with a passion to serve Him.

Henriette Kaninda

In 2018 Pastor Kemi asked me to join a team of missionaries going to Chad, a Central African country and one of the poorest in the world. The mission was powerful; the Holy Spirit moved with might to set the people free and the presence of God was tangible. I was humbled to see pastors and leaders from different areas of the country sleeping on the floor, night after night for nearly three weeks, without complaining. The only thing that mattered to them was an encounter with God. Their hunger for the word of God was amazing to see. Hundreds of children from 0 to 10 years old were delivered from rejection, abuse and trauma. Women were also delivered and healed. A prayer movement for the nation was launched.

Glory to God.

Alice Pemha

Many people we met said they were happy, and we were happier to meet them one on one too.

Isaac Taiwo

Il y a toujours un impact quand sa parole est prêchée accompagnée du Saint-Esprit. Les malades sont guéris, les vies brisées restaurées. C’est lui qui fait sa promotion. On est des spectateurs de la plus grande star au monde.

Gauthier Geeraert

I had the opportunity of being part of Les Moissonneurs’ international missions in the DRC in 2015 and 2016. We joined local ministries, churches and Christians to evangelise, train and equip the saints, and to reach out to people groups such as widows and street workers, sharing the Gospel right in the areas where they were.

The team helped form youth street-evangelism teams and went out with them to share the Gospel, many of them for the first time. In one outreach with young people, 100 souls were won to the Lord Jesus Christ within one hour.

Church leaders were trained in the model of discipleship, to equip new converts and build strong churches with a sound knowledge of the Word. It was not just the Congolese people who were impacted; everyone on the team was. I was.

Almost discouraged, weakening churches were revived as hope and faith were stirred within them. The support and partnership with Les Moissonneurs was beyond imagination.
