Mission to the DR Congo
An 11-member delegation from KTLCC UK, Elim France and Les Moissonneurs trained more than 200 apostles, pastors and church leaders in Kinshasa, in line with the E37 vision.

A delegation of 11 members from KTLCC UK, Elim France and Les Moissonneurs travelled to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to support the growth of the work among francophone nations, in line with the E37 vision. The mission centred on strengthening leaders through Kingdom principles drawn from the Gospel of Matthew, while advancing discipleship and church-planting initiatives.
More than 200 apostles, pastors and church leaders from Kinshasa and the surrounding regions attended the conference. The team also visited several churches, ministered to congregations, and met with a committed group of regional leaders. These Congolese pastors and apostles expressed a strong desire for continued spiritual development and practical ministry training. Establishing solid foundations remains essential for building churches and communities rooted in Kingdom values, and there is a clear need for sustained discipleship and leadership formation across the region.
The mission saw many breakthroughs. Delegates received numerous testimonies of healing, transformation and renewed commitment. The team experienced deep fellowship, intercession and spiritual preparation, receiving significant insight from the Holy Spirit throughout the journey. These moments strengthened unity within the delegation and reinforced the purpose of the mission.
A link between past and present
A notable highlight was the visit to the historic Sims Chapel, built in the late 1800s by Dr Aaron Sims, an English medical missionary supported by the Livingstone Inland Mission. Dr David Livingstone’s pioneering work along the Congo River helped open the way for Dr Sims’ ministry in Kinshasa. During the visit, the team learned that Dr Livingstone’s ministry had been supported by Horbury Chapel, later known as Kensington Temple, creating a meaningful historical link between past and present mission efforts.
The belt of Africa
During the trip, Pastor Malcolm received a significant revelation of Congo as the “belt of Africa”, recognising its strategic spiritual role in evangelism and in establishing a strong Christian foundation across the continent. This insight affirmed the importance of continued partnership and long-term investment in the region.
Please pray with us
We encourage ongoing prayer for the Democratic Republic of the Congo: that the seeds sown during this mission will produce lasting fruit, strengthen local leaders, and support future projects aimed at advancing the Kingdom of God throughout Africa. Continued collaboration, discipleship and leadership development will be vital in equipping the Congolese church for its growing influence across the continent.
