The mission to Togo went very well indeed. It was good to have so many people standing with us in the place of prayer. The Lord met us powerfully and showed Himself strong. We thank God for journeying mercies. Even if our bodies are tired, our spirits are renewed in the Lord. He is our strength and the lifter of our heads.

About 160 pastors and leaders from different countries in West Africa gathered to take part in the conference, with delegates from Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea Conakry, Niger, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Benin and Togo.

Equipping leaders for the multiplication of disciples

The teaching was based on the upside-down Kingdom of God as announced and presented by Jesus Christ, and on the need for followers of Christ to live as He calls them to: with Christ at the centre as King, fully surrendered to His kingship, leadership and authority; living differently from the world; and operating in the power He has won for the Church, as the light of the world and the salt of the earth. To live as Christ lived, demonstrating the power of God and impacting our world with the message of the Gospel.

As the sessions were taught, we saw the power of God released mightily upon the audience. The power of the Word was displayed through healings, deliverances, transformed lives, and renewed commitments to serve God and move in power by the Spirit of God. God released a mighty anointing and a determination to stand up and respond to His call to go and change the world for Christ.

The Holy Spirit moved powerfully among the people. There were healings and restorations, gifts were renewed, there were deliverances, the gifts of the Holy Spirit were fully in operation, and there were testimonies galore. We came away from the sessions overawed by the power of God, His love for His people, His grace, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

Thank you

A big thank you especially to those who contributed to the success of this mission. God has truly done great things for us, and we are glad.

May the Lord richly bless and reward you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
